Esta búsqueda llegó a inspirar toda una línea argumental de George Lucas en Star Wars, y a muchos otros guiones del cine. Y ahora, me ha inspirado a mi. A título personal, extrapolo esta búsqueda a la moda, a la imitación por antonomasia. Inspirar, imitar...como queráis llamarlo porque la moda eleva al baladí, haciéndole representante de una colectividad, concreta incorporación de un espíritu común a muchos según Simmel. Debbie acaba mimetizándose con su nuevo entorno, el de la tribu de indios. Incorporando a su vestimenta las plumas, las trenzas, los collares y todo tipo de abalorios parece ser una más. Con esto comprobamos el poder de las exigencias sociales, las cuales tienen tal intensidad que adquieren el aspecto de algo peculiar. Debbie, a girl who apparently says nothing, ends up being the theme of a film considered by many one of the greatest classics of Hollywood cinema and the best western ever. Played by Natalie Wood, Debbie brings an obsessive quest by her Uncle Ethan (John Wayne). This search came to inspire an entire storyline of George Lucas in Star Wars, and many other film plots. And now, it has inspired me. Personally, I extrapolate this search to fashion, imitation par excellence. Inspire, imitate ... whatever you want to call it that elevates the trivial fashion, making it representative of a community, specific incorporation of a shared spirit for many, according to Simmel. Debbie just mimicking their new environment, the tribe of Indians. Incorporating to her appearance feathers, braids, necklaces and all kinds of beads she seems to be an Indian woman. With this we check the power of the social, which have an intensity that take on the appearance of peculiar.
